Most of the time, female victims of male perpetrators receive justice. However, more often than not, when women rape boys and men (which empirical research finds is very common, just not reported), women rapists get a mere fraction of the sentence that a man would receive in the reverse situation-- if women get a sentence at all. Many times, women who rape children and adults serve no jail time at all. Unfortunately, male victims, even when they are children, do not receive the outpouring of sympathy and support that this woman in this sad case has received.Laurie A.
