Betty Crocker's Party Book is a terrific little book with a spiral binding that is meant to help you prepare for parties and events with friends and family. Its is organized around specific holidays and celebrations that include some broader ones like Christmas, Easter, Valentine's Day, New Year's Eve, and, of course, Thanksgiving, as well as some that are specifically American like Lincoln's Birthday and the Fourth of July. It also has ideas for Labour Day, May Day, Mother's and Father's Day, St. Patrick's Day and more.
It is really fun with quaint drawings, typically period cookbook photography and some predictably dated ingredients, combinations and party tips among the many very good ones.
Today we are, needless-to-say, featuring the Thanksgiving menu that includes four stuffing ideas, the hilariously gross Harvest Gold Salad and a really neat idea for Frozen Pumpkin Pie.
And what Thanksgiving gathering would be complete without the Thanksgiving Gilded Fruit Centerpiece? Get the can of gold spray ready folks!

Quite the centerpiece! I also dig the gelatinous "Harvest Gold Salad".
What for this cookbook to make a reappearance in future!
