What's in a Name and other follies from week one of the 2015 election -- A Left Chapter round-up

This is the first of what will be our weekly election round-up of the inane, bizarre, humorous and unusually facile in the great show that is mainstream bourgeois politics in the EPIC election of 2015.

1) He may have won the debate...but not the spelling bee!

3) What's in a name?

Apparently a lot if you are Justin (note the Justin part of that) Trudeau.

For some unknown reason the fact that Harper and his cronies were calling Justin Justin on day who cares of the forever election campaign managed to become an "issue" for an afternoon news cycle on CBC Radio and other news outlets.

This evidently upset --.you know -- the politician formerly known as Justin.

Now I don't think that is as bad as being called, say, the Celine Dion of Canadian politics, or -- for example -- gutless and pandering.

Especially as it is, in fact, his name.

And, given, that the Liberals have a website called Justin.ca....I think this can officially be filed in the much ado about bullshit file.
