Vintage Postcard Folder of 1970s Riga, Latvia

Panoramic View of Riga
As followers of this blog know, I like to feature vintage postcards (and photography generally), especially either of streetscapes or with political themes.

Today we are looking at a tourist postcard folder I came across that you could buy when visiting Latvia during the Soviet period. It is from around 1970, came in a nice little decorative packet and each image was described on the back in four languages.

There are 16 views of Riga in total, so here are some images of that city on the Baltic from over forty years ago. Each is accompanied by its description.
